In this romantic romp through the Greek Isles, Carol Grace pens the delightful story of maid of honor and groom-to-be hot on the trail of a runaway bride...and quite possibly falling in love! Jane Atwood has loved Alex Woods for years. His upcoming wedding to her best friend -- the Greek- American beauty Sofia Leonakis -- doesn't make it any easier. Nor does the Greek island setting (is there a more romantic place on earth?) or her status as maid of honor. But when Sofia and Alex have a huge fight five nights before the wedding, Sofia runs off with a mystery man and all bets are off. Thrown together in search of the errant bride, Jane and Alex go island-hopping. Jane tries hard to keep the "honor" in maid of honor, but her attraction to Alex deepens like a Mediterranean tan. Soon, Alex sees that she's not the plain Jane he thought she was -- and that she may be his one true love. Only on the wedding day will Jane discover whether Alex is ready to say "I do" -- and to whom! A Bon Voyage romance! It was a very good book! I loved the mystery of finding Sofia and also the interesting relationship between Jane and Alex. I’m glad they ended up together and had a happily ever after ending !!!
Jane Atwood fell in love with Alex Woods in college. He fell in love with her Greek/American roommate Sofia Leonakis. Ten years later, Sofia and Alex are finally getting married on a Greek island and Jane is maid of honor. Jane and Alex meet up again after several years, on an island ferry. Sofia is angry with Alex for arriving late - because he was arranging to go into business for himself instead of taking over Sofia's father's business. In a huff after an argument, Sofia runs away with a local fisherman "friend". And of course, Jane and Alex follow - commandeering the Leonakis boat. The spend the 3 or 4 days before the wedding "looking" for Sofia while Alex finally wakes up and realizes Sofia's a flighty nitwit, while Jane has always been his best friend. They become lovers, but both suffer from guilt. Eventually they find Sofia and her lover and break up, but Jane still can't decide if she wants Alex. Pretty far-fetched story line with them all over the Greek Islands on wild goose chases. Fluffy read - a couple of bedroom scenes

An Accidental Greek Wedding was so romantic! I loved it! And it was so engaging, it only took me three days to read, and I'm a slow reader!
The plot was mesmerising. I loved all the characters, and Alex and Jane had great chemistry. It made me swoon :) I'm so glad they got together in the end, with such a happy ending. All the characters ended up with the person they loved :D
Light romance. The bride runs away with another man, leaving her best friend, Jane, and Alex, her groom, to track her down. They follow her, island-hopping, through the Greek Islands using chance sightings and wishful thinking.
