I still like the one I read about Mickey and the Beanstalk more but this was good too.

Jack sold their cow for magic bean his mom thought he was nuts.

Jack got up climbed the stall and got a giants gold, golden egg laying when and then golden harp. The harp he as caught taken but giant fell into hole never be seen again and golden harp told Jack his mom how make it.

This picture book/early reader is an updated version of Jack and the Beanstalk that doesn't vary much from the original story. The giant isn't that scary looking, and in the end he doesn't exactly die, but falls into a hole in the earth never to be seen again.

I love books in the fantasy genre. Jack and the Beanstalk was not one I used to reach for, but I actually liked it. I think it's a funny story about Jack stealing things from a giant. The make believe world can be very interesting. I think kids would love to listen to this fairy tale .

In this book, Jack climbs up a large beanstalk and begins to take magical things that can help him and his mother to get over their harships of being poor with no food or money. This book teaches how Jack was being a risk taker in the story in order to make sure that his family was fed. This book proves that being a risk taker pays off in the end.
