After several very happy years as a bookseller, Jessica Gilmore moved into the charity sector and now works in the Arts. Married with one daughter and two dogs, she lives in the beautiful Chilterns where she can usually be found with her nose in a book. A lover of a happy-ever-after, Jessica loves to write emotional romance with a hint of humour and a splash of sunshine.
A story full of warmth and emotion, with a devilishly sexy hero and gorgeously befuddled heroine. The ridiculously luxurious setting — I mean who doesn’t want their own private cruise to explore tropical Indonesian islands — is the proverbial icing on the cake. This is a romance with all the feels. Highly recommended.
What a finale! I finished this book yesterday — the last in the Billion-Dollar Matches series — and oh my, was it wonderful!
I absolutely adore Jessica Gilmore’s writing and the way she portrays the ex-tennis star hero and the ex-movie star heroine is just fabulous. They are damaged by their past and their careers — one very publicly, one very privately — and the way they navigate their issues to come together is just swoon-worthy in every possible way.
It has heat, it has heart, it has the most glorious backdrop in the form of a stunning yacht, and it has a real sense of family values that leaves you all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Seeing the matchmaker find her perfect match and a real family to belong to (realising along the way that she is just as worthy as any one of her clients!) made for the perfect read and I loved it!
If you haven’t checked it out — or the rest of the series — I highly recommend that you do!
