Little bear wants to help decorate the Christmas tree, but he is just too small. He can not reach to put on the garland, when he tries to add candles he breaks ornaments, etc. Over all this book wasn’t bad, but it’ wasn’t great either. It feels dated, especially with the putting the candles on the tree. YIKES! But it is a nice story that many will like.

This is a sweet story about decorating for Christmas. It's a good story for young children who might be a bit young to help with all of the decorating. The narrative is short and the illustrations are colorful. I chose not to read this book with our girls because I think they'd complain that it was too babyish, but I liked the story.
