Decent alphabet book, I just wasn't a huge fan of the illustration style. Do note, this focuses on present-day, professional baseball. If you want something that covers baseball history, women in baseball, or little league, this won't fit the bill.

This informative book not only teaches the reader his or her Alphabets, but also explains the ins and outs of the sport of baseball. Great for the novice, and anyone who wants a quick refresher on the sport, and the order of the alphabet.

This book is great for early readers and this book will improve the reader's vocabulary knowledge. Understanding new words, more knowledge about baseball, and increasing your reading knowledge is exactly what will happen if you read this book.

I love alphabet books! I think they can be used for all ages and are also fun to create your own. I like the way you can learn something new from an alphabet book but aren't overwhelmed with information. I enjoyed the illustrations, the baseball players all had very expressive facial expressions. I think the illustrations will help to draw children into the book. After reading this book I would ask my student if they want to learn more about baseball or are interested in another alphabet book. If they like baseball I think reading a book about the baseball hall of fame would interest them.

Understanding Baseball doesn't have to be complicated for children. And with this action-packed and colorfully illustrated A to Z vocabulary book about Baseball, author Michael Spradlin and illustrator Macky Pamintuan capture the important components of baseball; Ace, Ballpark, Dugout, Foul Ball, Jersey, Mascot, Shortstop, and Youth League along with a short and sweet description of what each word means.

A fun alphabet book for baseball fans, with nice illustrations. My only quibble (and perhaps it's a dumb one) is that the J is for jersey page says that jerseys are worn by players, but the illustrations show only fans wearing them.

This book was about a baseball trams from a to z. for every letter of the alphabet they had a baseball saying for it. this book would be a good book to introduce students to baseball. the pictures in this book are done with ink.
