Mildly entertaining but seems to overuse newspaper articles throughout a lot of the text. Also, the typos and punctuation errors made me CRAZY. Serious copy editing needed to clean up.

This book covers the case of D.B. Cooper and three mysterious disappearances based in Michigan.
I found all the stories interesting except one about a ship that went missing. The author relied heavily on newspaper accounts in that case, making it repetitive and dry.
The book did have typos, grammatical errors, and random misuse of capitalization which were a bit distracting.
A quick read for true crime fans and people who like to read books about Michigan.

A good book for easy reading. Just kind of a fun book to sit down and read for a bit. The the people in the stories remain missing so there is no closure. One does wonder, "I wonder what did happen to them."

Little confuse

It's a good book. Some interesting facts. But it's a little confuse to read. Too many copied article's from newspaper.

Very poorly done. The cases picked were random, the passages were unwieldy and boring and whole pages were taken up of news articles that just repeated themselves. The only case that seemed appropriate was the DB Cooper one and then they had one more that was similar. The others just seemed like they were chosen at random. And they were tragic but not necessarily interesting. I mean the plane disappearance? I feel for their sons and the rest of their family but the plane could have just gone down in a swamp or changed course due to weather and crashed somewhere else. I feel for the individuals who went missing and their families without closure but this was not the way to honour them.

Very sad but interesting to browse through the missing files.
It is really shocking to read how it feels when somebody disappears suddenly without a trace.
Throughout the writing, the author eagerly repeats information that appeared in various sources, like paper, news reports, witness interviews etc., in an effort to present all the available info regarding the missing.
Sincerely hoping against hope that someday, the family who are still awaiting any confirmed news of the missing people, find some solace.
