When Ariels sister told her to run, she did. She has been getting by but barely and when the latest blow happens she ends up coming across a wallet in a car. She takes it but when she finds out it is Gabriel DeLuca she knows she has brought herself a world of hurt. Gabriel is well known around the city as the Mafia boss you do not want to mess with. Ariel has a plan to return the wallet but what she does not realize is Gabriel is on to her and when he finds out why she did it he has a plan to keep her for his own. He knows she is his one but someone else is intent on destroying what they are building.

I really enjoyed this one. Ariel is wonderful and Gabriel absolutely adores her. I thought the pacing of the story was great and this was a one sit reading for me. Excellent story.

This one is so over the top, you just kinda have to go with it. I do wonder how Gabe, who is the head of a mafia family is so dumb, he doesn't realize what is going on. I was glad that Ariel and Jules were safe and that Gabe pulled his head out of his ass to see what was really going on.

Sometimes I read these 5 star reviews and wonder if we read the same book. This book switched from first person to third person too many times. Yes there were also grammar and sentences that were missing words, but that is usually stuff I can kind of skip over. Annoying but doesn’t necessarily ruin the story for me. The premise of this story is great, mafia boss falls for girl he feels need to protect. But the problem I had was that their “romance was glossed over with a they spent time together fluff, and then she gets sick and after taking care of her pretty much tells her to get in his bed. Like she’s been sick all day, last thing he should be expecting is sexy time, but whatever, she suddenly feels better. So then he believes the worst of her even though the real culprit is right in his face, he doesn’t talk to her about it but decides he has to be right. The part that bugged me is the storyline keeps going from first to third person then back within a few sentences. Then all of a sudden they realize their mistake like the snap of a finger, though just a few minutes before they all hated and mistrusted her. Then we get way too much additional story line about her mom randomly showing up, her having a lost brother, the housekeeper adopting her. Just too much going on. Idea was solid, but the writing needs work.

This book doesn't deserve even 1 star. Although the author had an interesting idea for a story, the writing is terrible. Unfinished sentences, jumping from one idea to another, not enough developed caracters, wrong pronouns...too many to name even for someone for whom English is not a native language.

Gabriel and Ariel

Wow what a way to meet each other. Poor Ariel had been attacked and beaten and what little money she had was stolen, and she just happened upon Gabriel's car and saw his wallet, and deciding she needed some necessities, she only took three hundred and then returned his wallet back to his office. Gabriel realized that she was injured so had his men find her and they brought her to his house to heal. One thing led to another and they fell in love, but he wasn't expecting his crazy secretary to be so obsessed and demented and not too mention stupid, since she brought an enemy to his door and then eventually Ariel got hurt yet again. Great story and looking forward to the next one. Happy reading.

Gurrrrrrrl!!!!! 💜💜💜

Tiffany, everything you write I flipping love. I’m constantly stalking my kindle app for new works by you. Peeps, buy all her book, they are all fantastic. You won’t be disappointed. Some may complain about a few grammar slip ups, but seriously get over it. They’re minimal. The woman is human and is trying to quickly provide new material for her readers and I’m grateful for the quick turnaround.

Sweet

Well for a first timer I am loving Tiffany's book's.

Deluca's a hard Mob Bastard his name alone brings fear to others, but one day he meets a sweet red head who stole from him

Ariel is on the run but from whom and who if any will save her.

What a stunning read of two people coming together.

Will they get a HEA 9r does Gabriel stuff it up.

You need to read to find out.

Needs a lot of work

This was awful. The spelling, grammar, and sentence structure were appalling. There were gaps and jumps in time that made no sense. At one point, she went from having a fever to losing her virginity on the same day with no transition. The author skipped between first person and third, and there were several times when it was hard to tell who was being talked about. I was excited for the premise, but wanted to DNF several times.

Great

This is the story of Gabriel Dr Luka who was in Clearwater 3 and Ariel. This story is fantastic. Gab is a crime boss Ariel steals from him and When he finds her he wants justice. This story has romance with twists and turns you don't see. Fabulous book by Ms. Casper. Loved it.

It’s the first book of this authors I didn’t fully enjoy. His treatment of her was horrendous, I get he felt betrayed but that right there was a test he failed, because if he loved her as much as he says he’d never have believed it. IMO anyway. All that aside I loved the beginning, I loved that she didn’t just forgive him and I liked the end. Well worth reading.

This one I struggled with. Not sure why all the 5 star reviews. Too many issues. A lot of first person to 3rd person. Things would be said in the dialog and you wouldn't know who said it. There were a lot of grammatical errors but I can usually look past those. The story seemed rushed also. Not sure I would recommend this book. The story line was good but the delivery had a lot of issues.

So good

I enjoyed this story with the dark sides to it. It wouldn't be a good mafia story if it didn't have these elements. That being said, the tight family bonds by blood and non blood family members have The DeLuca family is unbreakable.

Betrayal is hurtful

Gabe and Ariel are a good fit, she tamed the mob boss. The story is a bit over dramatic, and Ariel is more forgiving than she should be.

Really good

I enjoyed this book a lot, although at one point I wanted to punch Gabe, but other than that I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to see how the rest of the series plays out.
