Adrienne I’m both terrified and thrilled to be the new artist for the hottest coming soon game in the industry–double entendre intended. The start-up gaming company I work for likes to push boundaries, including adult ratings, no limit on in-game partners, and some moderately graphic depictions of all the different ways to get down and dirty with two or more people. Given that I’m inching my way toward forty and my experience in the bedroom is limited to a couple of less than attentive ex-boyfriends, I’m not sure I can pull off the realistic designs that are expected of me. Two sexy men have got my back… and my front… and every bit of me from head to toe. Because they’re going to help me work through the various positions the game is supposed to portray. In front of a camera. For drawing reference, of course. And as long as I remember this is all for purely research purposes, I’ll be fine. I can remember that, right?

I got this book for free on Amazon and I love a good smutty story in-between more serious reads. This one just didn't do it for me. I NEVER have a hard time reading a romance book, especially spicy ones. I kept setting this one down and just never wanted to pick it back up again. I literally almost DNFed it several times then pushed through.

The characters themselves were a little odd and I had a hard time liking them. Everything about it just seemed super unrealistic and normally I love that in a romance book - but this one didn't sit right with me. I kept getting the male characters confused because they both had similar backstories.

The spicy scenes were okay... nothing that really stuck out to me. The ending was wrapped up in a way I could see coming from a mile away and the few little bits of drama were solved quickly.

Overall, I wouldn't continue the series. I didn't particularly enjoy this one but it was free. If you are into gamer, three-way smut give it a try. It just wasn't the book for me.

I listened to this book on audio and it was a really great experience with the three different narrators.

This book is spicy (and fiction), but there was a whole lot of emotional depth, character dimension, and sweetness.

I think the title and the cover art is actually a detriment to what this book really is. If you are on the fence, give this one a try!!

Audio - DNF

this did not keep my attention as the audio was awful. I think parts were AI and they were bad. I’m going to skip this one.

I don't usually pick up poly romances, but I'm glad that I picked up this one. I loved the characters, the story, just everything about it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to dip their toe into some adult polyamorous romances.

I loved Adrienne's story. Dustin and Phillip are the perfect fit for her.

When Adrienne sees the two nude guys posing in her art class, she never dreams that she will be working with them the very next day. After some tough times, which include a failed marriage, she has managed to land her dream job at a gaming company. Showing up on her first day and finding Dustin and Phillip were going to be her closest workmates is a bonus. Maybe she will finally get a chance to explore her sexuality and there is no one she would love to explore it with more than these two hot men. Fortunately, the company they all work for does not frown upon employees having consensual relationships with each other outside the office. But all three of them have some personal baggage that might interfere with their ability to build something that can stand the test of time.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Unrealistic: Gamers don’t get laid

No but for real, this book was so badly written, I found about 10 errors within the first couple of chapters. It felt like an editor had never even this. The conclusion was so painfully obvious from the first chapter that it was pointless continuing. Only not 1* because the nieces were well written cute characters!

I got this book for free on Amazon

Adrienne is starting a new job as an artist for a games company who are launching a new game which includes options for the characters to have some saucy / spicy times.
Adrienne can do this but he husband only bothered with his pleasure so she feels a little inexperienced. To help she sometimes attends a live art class and the night before she starts her job the art class has two naked males for her to draw. But Adrienne gives her own interpretation and has them together.

When she leaves the class, she sees one of the men, Dustin and he steps in when her ex husband appears giving her grief. Inadvertently he sees her drawing of him and his friend Philip.

Dustin and Philip are friends with benefits, both were drawn to the woman at the back of the class drawing them.
Dustin has a plarty boy reputation and Philip is still grieving for his wife and daughter.

Adrienne, Dustin and Philip are all shocked when Adrienne arrives at the office as the new recruit. it is unsurprising that she is soon growing close to both men .

But then she says without thinking that she needs help with the art work, help understanding positions.
Philip shows Adrienne whilst fully clothed, with Dustin watching and filming them.

The next time Adrienne asks how that works, clothes come off and all three are falling fast. But then Philip drops a bombshell and Adrienne's ex-husband starts causing more problems for her.

Can Philip, Dustin and Adrienne all be brave enough to say what they want?

I'm only giving three stars because I felt the storyline was predictable and it could have been explored further in places

When her marriage has failed and she's waiting to start her new job Adrienne is sitting in on an art class featuring two nude men. As she is leaving one of the men is in her site on the way out. He introduces himself and they start an accord but when her ex shows up Dustin makes it his business to move the bloke off by saying he is Addies boyfriend. After Adrienne leaves Dustin meets up with Phillip and have the hottest sexual encounter just behind closed doors in the lounge area. The next day they both are introduced to someone new who will be helping them out in their department. It turns out it's someone they both seen the night before. Adrienne is just as shocked as they are about how they are now her bosses it har new job. There are a lot of random characters you meet that each have their own book as well including Adrienne's brother Graham and his partners Luna and Cole. Luna also works at the gaming company that Phillip, Dustin, and Adrienne work at. You meet Brandon and his partner Danny who has a singing parter named Reese who has a voice that is supposedly unbelievable. Brandon also works at the gaming place called AcedPlaced and they are bringing about a game for adults only to live out their sexual fantasies via the internet. The sexual content is hot wether its between Adrienne and Dustin, Adrienne and Phillip, or all three together. It makes you want to have your own ménage a twoi.

I have to say I really enjoyed Random Encounter By Allyson Lindt. She can really tell a story. I love reading about love and how you can love more than one person and isn't always just a two person deal. Random Encounters shows a relationship between two men and their lady. They show it can work if you really want it to. Phillip and Dustin were work friends and friends with benefits when they first met Adrienne in a drawing class, they were the naked subjects. They were helping out their friend in the class. They fell for her and Phillip even drew her. Come to find out she would be starting at the place they both worked drawing for a computer game. They had a lot in common. Adrienne had just got out of a bad marriage and her ex couldn't let go. Phillip lost his wife and child in a car accident and still had issues cause of it, who wouldn't. He didn't want to lose anyone else, so he wanted to slowly draw away from everyone, so he wouldn't feel the pain of losing anyone again. Really check this book and see how Adrienne, Dustin and Phillip end up and the journey they take. It definitely is a must read and you'll not want to put this book down.

Random encounter

This was definitely an unexpected story that I am glad I picked up!

Adrianne, an artist, happens upon a nude drawing class where Dustin and Phillip are models together. They all notice one another but it’s Dustin and Adrianne who share the first words together.

The next morning, Adrianne realizes she is going to work with these two gorgeous men - whom she’s already seen naked - in the art department of a MMO game with a lot of sex in it.

Even though the setup is raunchy and the chemistry between all three of them is off the charts, this story actually touches upon several harder subjects. But it handles them with care which I really enjoyed. There are insecurities and baggage from all of them and they navigate through growing feelings and emotions.

The writing flows really nicely and I had no trouble in immersing myself into the story. It kept me hooked and wanting for that happy ending.

Loved this!

Tropes:

Ugh why did I read this author again?? 😫 I dumb.
Dustin and Phillip are basically the same person. Adrienne supposedly has no filter for the dirty innuendo and bald truth that pops out of her mouth, that she's known for, but yet she never spouted it during her marriage and she's completely an innocent. Whaaaaa? I'm not saying you can't have growth, but that seems like a pretty integral part of her makeup.
And then the book has all this existential crisis that talks a lot but doesn't move the plot along. If the writing were tighter, it could've been heartfelt, but it's utter nonsense instead. Ffs just go back to fucking! But better fucking would be good too.
PS the birth experience doesn't make any fucking sense. Lost a star in the epilogue. 😐

I give this book 3.5 stars, leaning towards 4 stars. I liked the story arc. I thought it was unique and it intrigued me. I like to read new story ideas. Lately there have been a lot of similar story arcs, with the only difference being the smexy scenes. So this story was refreshing for me.

The smexy scenes in this book were interesting enough. And the characters were likeable. But I wish there had been more character building and more reason for getting together besides their physical attraction. There was some dialogue between the characters, but I felt that there could have been more in depth feelings.

I liked how this author handled the F/M/M relationships. No shame in public. It was nice to see.

Overall I recommend this story.

It was okay

I liked this book alright, but I feel like me and the author were on slightly different wavelengths. Everything felt just a little off to me.

I don’t think it was a problem with the story or the writing, just differing style preference.

So I’m bumping up the star rating a little bit because it’s not the author’s fault that my tastes don’t run in exactly their direction.

That said, there isn’t a lot to this book. It’s a cute romp, doesn’t make any waves, and gets a little after-school-special about feminine independence. It definitely felt like it was written by a straight cis woman, but I couldn’t tell you what made it feel that way.

Overall, not a bad read, but not one that makes me interested in keeping up with the series.

I absolutely loved the beginning but the story got lost in names and games.
I want to read a romance that is hot and steamy.
Don’t want to be some web game developer.
So started skipping pages already in chapter two
The story line is all over the place.
It’s chaotic and confusing.
It feels like the author has no clue either.
Half of time I have no idea if she means Dustin or Phillip.
54 pages of how they met in the evening and just the next morning…….wtf!
To much computer language that I don’t want to know.
And if you’re not in to computer games like I am then you can totally skip chapter 6 and 7
Skipped chapters of Phillip because those are to depressing to read.
Then at 40% I skipped to the end.
It was just bad

Three in love

Addie takes a job working with Dustin and Phillip but before the job starts she meets them in an art class. They're working on the design of a new video game which involves adult themes. Lust amps up quickly with lots of hook ups. This includes MM, MF and MFM. It was a good story but it felt like I was expected to know the other characters and understand their relationships without a lot of explanation. Addie's brother is in a relationship with her friend Luna and a man who is the ex husband of her new boss, I think. Trying to figure those things out detracted from the story. It did have an HEA for Addie, Dustin and Phillip.

Shockingly good

I have to admit—I wasn’t sure what kind of story this would be given that the cover looked a little more on the “cheesy romance novel” end of the spectrum, but this story was actually really good! I’m not a gamer—at all—so some of those parts were a little confusing or boring in the beginning, but they weren’t an issue & didn’t feel excessive.
Kudos to the author for realistic writing about psychological abuse as well as two of the characters getting therapy later on, as well as to having throuples or gay couples be a total non-issue.
I really enjoyed this story & loved the epilogue.

Adrienne is just about to start a new job when she goes to audit a painting class. Once there, she’s enthralled by two men who are the models. After the class, Dustin ends up sending her ex away, but he also sees how Adrienne painted both him & Philip together.

What Adrienne doesn’t know is that her new job will be working with both Dustin & Philip. She’s starting her new job, all while trying to deal with her stalker ex.

What Adrienne & Dustin don’t know is the Philip plans on leaving the company. Over 10 years ago, he’d lost his family, & now he was ready for a change.

This was a great story, with some dramatic events & romantic scenes as well.

Review for complete series, it's available as an anthology bks 1-6. I read this through koboplus.

What to expect - gaming, lots and lots of gaming
- returning characters from previous series
- older characters 35-40+yrs old, they have pasts and lots of history, there is the maturity of a later in life romance
- mmf romance
- mild erotica, steamy but varied, don't expect every variation of mmf romance in each book
- a lot of the romance dragged a bit, we all know where they are heading and it was annoying when they dragged out the part where the love interests pretended they weren't in love with each other. There was some variation of this storyline in each book.

I love happy endings!

Another amazing thr-ouple story where best friends become more and an insecure yet brave woman decides to find strength and happiness. The most incredible about this author and her stories is that is based on real people with real problems. You can feel the characters and their thoughts and feelings. Phillip suffers survivors grief. Dustin suffers the feeling of belonging. And Adrienne is trying to start over from mental abuse from her ex-husband then suffer his stalking, these are all real life encounters. Like my subject - I love happy endings!

steamy MMF romance

Adrienne is trying to get past her failed marriage, Dustin is a playboy and Phillip is a widower traumatized by the loss of his wife and daughter. Phillip and Dustin work together and already have a casual relationship. Addie comes to work with them and the attraction is instantaneous. There is drama with Addies ex, a former co-worker of Dustin and Phillips reluctance to get in another relationship. Lots of steam, good characters and a little drama make this an interesting read.

Graphic Gamer Grope

Party boy Dustin has ambitions as a latecomer to the core group at the new online gaming venture. He has his coworker and best friend with benefits, Philip, but can't seem to grasp commitment. Widower Philip enjoys Dustin's playfulness, but he's terrified of letting anyone get close enough to lose. Enter Addie who with a pencil stroke lays bare what Dustin and Philip don't see as she spirals away from her sociopathic ex questioning herself at every turn. What will it take for them to see how well they can blend into a new creation?

AWESOME READ

I really love the way the characters are made human and real.

Adrienne doesn’t realize how much she’s been missing until she sees two Adonis-like models in the art class she sits in on.

Things with her ex are tense and it’s one of her Adonis’ who comes to her rescue. Dustin is there to help her. She soon discovers the others name; Patrick.

The path for the these three is full of laughter, sexy times and soul searching.

A great read and sexy romp. I am definitely a fan after having read this. I’ll be checking out more of her books now.

Got the book for free on Amazon. And it was okayish. I liked the main characters’ individual stories but how they fell in love wasn’t well expanded on. It felt like they met then suddenly were in love. Would have liked to read more about how they slowly fell for each other.

The content of the game they are working on was mentioned briefly but I was left hanging there. Maybe it’s focused on in the other books? I’ll never know. The ending was kind of expected so no plot twist there but that’s fine with me.

The finesse of this MMF story makes it a joy to read…

One of my favorite ménage authors gives us another heartfelt story. The way the guys are friends with benefits, nothing serious and Adrienne just sort of brings it all together is the way I would want it to happen to me. Of course, nothing is that simple. A baddie and some relationship angst add some suspense to this smoking sexy read. If you like three way love this one is great!

Trusting to love again

Absolutely loved this book and would thoroughly recommend it to all readers and hope that they find it just as good as I did. Addie has just escaped a toxic marriage and is starting a new job. Dustin and Phillip are friends with benefits but when they meet their new colleague Addie they are both attracted to her. Can these three people deal with old hang ups and come together. Read, find out and enjoy

The book art for this title is wrong.

HEA
Standalone
Trigger warnings
Stalking
MM, MFM scenes
Death of spouse and child
Car crash

This story will take your emotions on a roller coaster from fear to love and back again. Steamy scenes, NOT fade to black, bisexuality and all that goes with that are included. It's not a hard read because of typos (none I saw) but that there is a lot of drama and danger. Don’t start this book before bed, you won't want to put it down.
