3.75. This was a quick read. It wasn't bad but I'm not big on second chances. I feel like Crystal should have made Kit work harder for forgiveness. I know he tricked her years ago but he had been with plenty of women since then. You can't say you always loved someone but sleep with others. I can't separate those two things. Crystal tried to move on but wasn't successful. I didn't like that she was with him the very night they reunited and then engaged the next. Too soon for me.

I enjoyed this short romance. I was a bit confused at first because in the blurb it mentions Vi Lonsdale & Reese Keeland but it isn’t their story. Yes Vi is briefly in this story and Reese’s name was mentioned once. So I am guessing their book might be next? I liked this book but I wish there was a little more to it. I wanted Crystal to make Kit work for her forgiveness but she gave into him straight away. I wanted a bit more angst between them.
The storyline is easy to follow and the story is a cute second chance romance.
One last thing: The guy on the cover looks like Adam Levine! I seriously thought it was him until I took a closer look.

When Kit Kaswell was eighteen he made the mistake of pushing away the woman he loved. Ten years later he and Crystal – the one that got away, are both successful in their chosen careers. Finally deciding its time he gets his woman back, Kit steps back into Crystal’s life. Crystal was hurt by what Kit did to her ten years ago, now a successful author, she gets the shock of her life when Kit turns up at her new york book signing. Although the attraction and feelings are still there, will Crystal give him a second chance? Will Kit finally get his woman back?

Felt the girl was too easy

Reality check I would have never been so easy to push around. Her friend was not nice to her, not her place to decide her love life. I just don't care for weak women. It felt like you was in a hurry to end it.

Kit et Cristal sont vraiment mignon et il fait tout pour la reconquérir. Mais c’était un peu trop simple comme réconciliation et un peu plus de sentiments aurait été bien.
