¿Por qué hacen libros de mil páginas con una historia que estaría perfecta en 200?

Yowza, was this a good read with some hot scenes.

Nut Shell:
Celeste is back in town after a 10yr absence to start her life over and wants to hook up w/old friend Mick. Both have had the hots for one another since they were teenagers. Celeste is not only repressed but comes with a lot of baggage...oh, did I mention that she also has her own sociopathic stalker who is determined to have her discover and release her own evil side?

Fun ride and worth a future re-read on my bookshelf.

I love all the books in Denise Agnew's Men of Justice series. She writes hot, intriguing alpha males with flaws and hearts of gold. Her heroines are strong and a great match for each hero. Each story has a unique blend of mystery, suspense and lots of sexual tension and beautifully written love scenes.

Definitely better than the first, and longer to boot! Celeste's constant wishywashyness was a bit grating toward the end, but for the most part, I enjoyed it. I just made sure to skip each and every one of Darrell's POV scenes, because they were long, drawn out, unsympathetic and honestly made me roll my eyes.

I was expecting so much more of this author and this book. The first one was really good, so I didn't expect less from this.. but... The book is too long and the real danger only appears sporadically... had a food end.. but... I was expecting something better...

I definitely like this book much more than the first. While the story of Dace and Mary, was full of gaps, the Mick and Celeste's story was definitely very full, and even had some repetition, It kept my attention all the way, It keeping me in expectation page after page. it was hard to stop reading.

This was on o.k. book. To be honest I found the heroine a little annoying. You know make up you mind already. Other than that it was really good. Strong alpha lead.
