A very short book devoted to early days of the Rolling Stones. Quite informative.

MsW: Quips, quotes and a quick read that spans mid 1960's through mid 1990's. My favorite comments? Mick, 1967: "When I'm 33, I'll quit. That's the time when a man has to do something else. I can't say what I'll definitely be...but it won't be in show business. I couldn't bear to end up as an Elvis Presley and sing in Las Vegas with all those housewives and old ladies coming in with their handbags...it's really sick." Keith, date unknown: "The only thing Mick and I disagree about are the music and what we do." I couldn't resist a quick search of Mick and 'da boys current status...Ron's 69th Bday is today, and he and his 28 year old wife just had a baby! Mick & Keith are both 73, still on tour and still writing music, and Charlie holds elder statesman status at 75! Unbelievable.

This book is full of inaccuracies. The writer also had very few nice things to say about the band. The individual musicians, their music, and overall attitude were under attack throughout the book. I’ve read many books about The Rolling Stones and this one is definitely the worst.
