In their villa on the Great Barrier Reef, Belle Fraser worked to establish herself as a writer, determined to emerge from the shadow of her famous father. Then unexpectedly Rex Marron arrived.
A protege of her father's, he expected to be alone there to lick his wounds following a costly palimony suit.
But Belle saw his arrival as a chance for revenge against the handsome man who'd once humiliated her. Her plans went madly astray when she realized her teenage crush had developed into the full-fledged feelings of a woman. And according to Rex, he was now only interested in "one-night stands."

I can hand on heart say this was the first ever mills and Boon/Harlequin I ever read. I have always been an avid reader and while poking around in my mums draws I came across this gem. It must have been I the early 90's and I was probably very early teens. Of course having a book in my hand I couldn't resist reading it and I snuck it back to my room and devoured it. I was shocked by the Bedroom times but so began my love/hate relationship with this genre which I keep coming back to. I guess I was lucky it was this one and not some forced seduction Charlotte Lamb or Anne Mather which would probably have traumatised me at that tender age! The story is rather a sweet one the H and h fall in instalust on sight despite having previous history (she perceived he dissed her when she was 16 and had just lost her mum.) resistance is futile however and despite not fully trusting the H she gives in. He's actually rather sweet despite his reputation and has been totally used by an OW who has conned him into believing she is his sister. Twu love prevails for this pair with her giving up acting to trail after the H into the mists of HEA. This one holds a special place in my heart
