I mostly really enjoyed this, so 3* is slightly unfair - it's more of a 3.5* for me. The story about the trapped spirit is well drawn and manages the necessary suspension of disbelief, the cast of characters aren't just cardboard cut-outs, and the steamy parts make for a fun read (especially as the ménage heats up: yum). The BDSM elements are in the category of bedroom play rather than heavy-duty, so non-BDSM fans shouldn't be put off.
For me, it loses a star for the way the character's self-esteem issues concerning her weight are drawn: they seemed to be there solely as a means of throwing conflict into the story.
