Great to see an election with both parties being cordial. Note* Barbie meeting a woman president of the United States is hopeful but not accurate for 2012 printing.

Isn’t it obvious that she will win the election. Raquelle’s acceptance of her loss is the greatest part of this story. Nevertheless, Barbie asks her to be vice president. They will be a great team.
My daughter loves all things Barbie, but my husband immediately pointed out that the President doesn't make laws. He actually chuckled at a few things while she and I read this aloud last night. I'm pretty sure that this won't be irreversible damage to my first grader's brain, however. :)
This book has been really great for my daughter to practice reading. I made her re-read it about three times before taking it back to library. Good message too and she enjoyed reading it too.
