Great introduction to the life of an incredible man. Written as an educational resource for students I found this book to be informative, thought provoking, and accurate in its assessment of the issues W.E.B. DuBoise faced. The book also encourages further study of intersecting topics and does not present only “one” view of historical realities.

This book was exactly what I was looking for when writing my research paper on Du Bois's ever-changing political views. It outlined his life and successes clearly.
