Not what I hoped it would be.....

I’m just writing this for me because I don’t think I have enough to share or say to help anyone ....
Sorry..,
Just want to get a few thoughts out soo I can move on and forget ,and that’s what I will do because the few I was interested in reading weren’t at all what I had hoped they would be....
“Frozen Hearts” and “White as Snow”, I didn’t enjoy either...
In FH both the H (Rau) and Diamond are so caught in them selves and what they think they need they can’t seem to see the Forest for the trees and both seemed soo stubborn, it felt like it could have easily have been a s l o w burn kinda story and a slow burn in a short “might” work but if it does the characters need to grip you fast and make you care, and neither Rau or Diamond felt the other was worth their precious time and I sadly they left me feeling the same way about them after only a few chapters gave up...
I’m not looking for wha bam Thank you Ma’am but I don’t want to spend all my time waiting for them to get a clue ,long or short....
“White as Snow “ was where my disappointment really came from, I know just because an author is one of your very faves doesn’t mean you’ll love every thing they do but, Amy Sumida’s books are pretty damn awesome at times....
But honestly a RH w/Snow (White) and her sexy seven miners ( nothing short or small here, of course ;) ) really wasn’t made for short story telling ....
Decent build up,and storytelling but like I said just no where enough story for that many characters, decent story, but basically an almost clean RH where while mostly believable it just doesn’t quite make it because this just soo was a story that really be told in such a completely short form ...
No offense, because I highly respect the writer but personally I just don’t get why she’d pick a story w/soo many characters that needed to connect and grow in such an incredibly short form....
Just grateful this was KU and I can happily return and hopefully forget .....
I hope I help in some small way, but I mainly just needed to get my feelings out, Thank you ...
