This was a good book about real crimes. I think it was 8 true storys, 8 ot 6 i cant really remember, but the fist story just got me caught. He got arested about like 7 times but he kept going.then it started getting big. He started by stealing from his dads wallet. Then stores i think. Then apartments. Then small hotels. Then the biggest most richest hotles ever. It was amazing what type of jeniouse he was when it came to robbing. That was the biggest hotel robbery known. They robbed about i think 12 million worth of juels and cash from the safes. So if you like kind'a of a oh my gosh book, this is definetly it. Its about 20 pages for each story. And there was a simalar book called the 8 storys of poe i think it was. It was a scary story book. I read the first story but it was a stupid book because it mad eno sence. But anyways if you like books like that this is definetly your book.

The exposition in the first story is that bobby is in and out of jail, his wife is begging him after a while that he should take a normal job and be able to come home at night. He says he will, and for a while he does, but then he goes and finds some old friends and they start robbing hotels, which leads up to the biggest robbery in history. And the second story starts out with a John List that kills his family, makes it look like they are on vacation, and then goes to colorado, Denver with the name of Bob Clark. There he gets a job as a cook and works for a few years, then he gets married, and him and his wife moves into the wide’s apartment and their neighbor finds a newspaper with the face of John List and a prediction of what he looks like today, and it looks exactly like the Bob clark that the neighbor lives next to.
The author is using a very effective structure of text. He is using flashbacks when they are really necessary and fits in really good in the text. He does not tell us everything, which lets us wonder what is going on, but we are still not totally lost, and let us foreshadow what is going to happen.
The book Incredible Captures is a really good book. It tells you different stories from different criminals being captured. It really goes into details and lets you know what is going on, it doesn’t give you any clues on what is going to happen, it lets you foreshadow might happen in the future, and then later, the opposite happens.

Along with Lost...and Never Found by Anita Larsen, this was the first True Crime I ever read. I was 9.

It features five cases: Bobby Comfort, John List, the Brinks Gang, the kidnapping of 'Lauren' and Johnny Kon.

It's a Scholastic Press release, so it couldn't have been too heavy, but I do I remember being terrified of John List.

Incredible captures by bill Morgan
The book is interesting if you like books with some action on it and it has you would have lots of fun reading this book there is the biggest hotel robbery there is a guy that gets eight other guys to robe hotel Pierre’s then the get the robbery on the map the n some of them die and that is the only thing all tell you. the next robbery of six years there is some guys that robe brinks and one guy found a police officer so they would not think that he was part of the robbery on brinks they the police keep an eye on the guy the six years they wore looking for them and one of the guys tell the FBI so all of the guys get coot. My opinion of this book it is a good book to read when you start reading it you can’t put it down because it is good and the robberies are like a video game you like the ideas of the people that plans the robberies and they ask other robbers and it is fun because you could get the pictures on your head and I give this book a 10 because it is good.
What the Arthur is trying to say that if you do something bad you well get coot not when you do it you can wait so long bat the police never gives up and the police well get you. That is all I can give you from the book. Be save

Hi I'm Sebastian and this is my reveiw.Well,I put 5 stars for this book so that'll give you a reference on how much liked this book. This book is very intresting and it was amazing on how the police and F.B.I. caught all the thieves the book mentions. This book wasn't a suspense book, it was more of a mystery book because when I read this book I was all like whet's going to happen next, how is this guy going to get caught. This book will tell you the mistakes the robbers made like in one of the mysteries the robbers had to sell the some of the jewels they stole but the mistake was they were selling the jewels to a F.B.I. agent which was dumb because the robbers never checked if the guy was a F.B.I agent.Anyways,I would recommend to anyone who likes mysteries, until next review bye.

This was ok. I wondered because it is a Scholastic book but it is very matter of fact and doesn't glorify any of the crimes.
