Pretty damn tedious. Three quarters of this was the same old anecdotes about football trivia that I have read many times before. There was some stuff which was new to me, but in truth this was spoilt by an unnecessarily laddish tone which didn't really sit well with me - occasional sexist comments and cluelessly prejudiced aspects which made this feel very lowest common denominator in places. No more than a toilet book, which Murray in the introduction specifically rails against the description of, before failing to elevate this above.
For such a fantastic broadcaster this was a huge let-down.
I really like Colin Murray, I really like it when he says, No'n I'and, I know what it is like to have an accent, but this was shallow, poorly written, poorly researched, poor.
