In a no nonsense way, Dorothy Height guided us on a journey to help us understand our life’s purpose. During the journey we meet many great people: president wives, civil rights leaders, etc.

Dorothy I. Height was a great woman and a woman whom I will emulate. Author Height spoke on the atrocities committed on Blacks such as

When the perpetrators discovered that their victim was pregnant, they tore out the fetus and fired 20 shots into it.

Many people today do not appreciate what the Civil rights Movement truly meant. It was not about attitudes. It was about law.

Living With Purpose was a well written easy read. It was an eye-opener for me because there were many things I had not read in other books on this subject.

Living With Purpose is a book that should be read by all ages. Living With Purpose should be required reading at the middle school, high school and college levels.

This book is full of gems and quotes about interpersonal tactics that allow us to get work done. Dr. Height's biography and body of work is impressive and encourages the reader to look at their own work at social justice and improving human rights.
