Interesting, but too much emphasis upon micro-differences in pronunciation.

If the aim is a very rough and ready guide for tourists trying to wrap their tongue around Gaelic, then fair enough.
But it's useless as a guide for serious learners of Gaelic. You simply cannot replicate the sounds of Gaelic using English syllables. It just does not work. You wouldn't expect a German to understand duss-an-yah-gah when they're expecting Düsenjäger... this book will lead to Gaelic on a part with that unfortunately.
