I was wary of this book, because it is published by Unity, which does not mesh with my beliefs. HOWEVER, this book has great morals, is engaging and well done. My son has sat for these since he was three and now at 5 still enjoys them. Our two yr old loves little dragon too.
I disagree with the previous reviewer. I feel the drawing, which may be a bit old fashioned, are well suited to any age.
I love this best as a read aloud.
In the back, it has a parent/teacher guide that breaks down the "lesson" and suggests talking points.

The artwork in this book reminded me of like the 1980's cartoons. It was fun to see the artwork for me, but older children might find it outdated and sort of dull.
I learned that to keep the interest of an older read, one must still keep the book interesting with pictures.

Summary: The little green dragon is a literal little green dragon. He loves living in the castle and he loves the princess. He has adventures that teach him and the reader valuable lessons.
Review: This book is incredible. I learned to love dragons as a child after reading this book. It is fun to read and has great life lessons for the reader.
Class uses: This book could be used for dissecting texts for hidden meaning (lessons, morals of stories, etc.). This could also be used for a discussion about fiction books.
