Half term may be over but the chaos has just begun. Mr Logan has run off and eloped with Miss Sharkreve leaving the Lower Sixth with a new housemistress - the tyrannical, catty Mrs Dicks. And with the rules getting tighter at St Cecilia's the students are getting way more creative in finding ways to break them - especially as they're all feeling a bit frisky.

Tally, broken hearted and on the rebound, sets her sights on safe bet Rando, while Alice and Tristan decide to take their relationship to the next level. Things between Dylan and Jasper are seriously heating up - could she finally have found a guy who won't disappoint her?

As tensions reach an explosive high, a pool party at Rando's country estate should be just the thing to cool everyone down. Or will it push the temperature up a notch?

Kiss & Break Up is the third book in the Young, Loaded & Fabulous series, and I think it's the best so far. The back cover really isn't lying when it says temperatures will rise, and it's pretty clear from the first couple of chapters that this instalment is by far the most risqué.

Alice and Tally still rule St. Cecilia's girls boarding school, and in turn have all the richest, hottest London boys chasing after them. These boys don't come without their fair share of drama, though, and as always the girls are left to make the big decisions and deal with the fallout.

Kiss & Break Up is full of sex, lies and revelations, and it makes for a cracking read. Think Gossip Girl's wealthy Upper East Siders living in London, and you get the general gist of the plot: it's all about who rules, who's sleeping with who and who's sporting the latest designer labels. Sometimes I do feel that the plot moves a bit too slowly, but I think that's because it's very character driven, and takes its time getting to know everyone inside out.

I really enjoy this series, and I can't wait for the next book, Too Cruel For School. It's the perfect series for fans of Gossip Girl, It Girl and Private, and is chock-full of shocks and scandal. Love it!

I just can't get myself to finish this book . Don't get me wrong, this book is amazing. It's just that I'm not really into contemporary fiction. So in other words, I'm just a 'bad' reader when it comes to this genre . But if you're into the whole 'teenagers living it up' thing, than this book is definitely for you!

This is the type of book you’ll enjoy if you like series like Gossip Girl – stories about mean, vain and rich girls, stories that are stupendously ridiculous. This book left me asking many questions. Do so many private schoolkids really drink hard liquor? Is it actually possible that many sets of parents are always holidaying in Paris and not actually raising their children? Does any sixteen-year-old really treat relationships and sex so casually? And since when is any sixteen-year-old so glamorous and self-assured?

So the series is totally preposterous, and there are a lot of themes (drug use, drinking, sex, and so on) that wouldn’t be suitable for young teens or those with objections to those themes. At times while reading I actually enjoyed it a bit, looking past the totally exaggerated characters and getting into the story, but after I finished reading it felt like a waste of time – I didn’t particularly like the characters or empathise with their struggles (their main concerns were getting as drunk as possible and getting laid, and that’s not really to my tastes).

I’d probably only recommend this book to older teenaged girls who are comfortable with the themes mentioned earlier, and who enjoy books like Gossip Girl – something melodramatic and frivolous. While they’re not really my cup of tea, judging by the success of Gossip Girl and similar series there are massive market for books like these. I think in terms of the market this book has been written for, it’s actually a decent read. It’s entertaining and fast-paced, and I prefer it to Gossip Girl novels I’ve read.

I am torn about this book. When I first started reading it, I really didn't like it. Most of the characters are so catty, bitchy and/or shallow. There are super awkward song lyrics. But then I guess it kind of grew on me. It is very readable and there were definitely some moments where I truly emphasized with a character in an emotional crisis, or saw the person behind the bitchiness. When I finished, there were so many dangling storylines that now I half want to read the next one when it comes out. At any given moment, I was ready to give this book between 1 and 3 stars so I guess I'll settle on 2.

This book did have a lot of sex, drinking, and drug use. I've never read a book that used the word "toke" so many times.

Seriously i dont know how to describe what i am feeling right now. How can the author do this Agh! I could feel tristan sincere feelings for alice. ( yea they both did mistakes but couples work it out). But the end gave me a teaser of doubts. I FEEL SO ANNOYED RIGHT NOW! They were perfect together and they had immense chemistry. I don wanna leak any spoilers and i did read till book 3 . But the reviews of later books confirmed what i was afraid of. Thank god now im quitting this series right now. Or I' d have burnt the books!!!!!!! This authors gave me some cutest characters and * poof just like that ruin them :( not a fan of this author and gonna avoid her books from now on. Not my cup of tea #Feelinglikehittingsomething
