“… I have a better idea, sweetheart,” ani Romano sa nanunudyong mga mata sa masungit na estranghera. “Ditch your lover and take up with me instead…” At sa mismong araw din na iyon, she met the most irritating but exceedingly handsome man.
Romano. Rugged. Rough. Rude. Rich. In that order. Oh, well, may isang R na gusto niya. Romantic. At hindi si Romano iyon who was so brutal in telling her na iisa lang ang gusto sa kanya – bed partner.
Martha Cecilia is a bestselling Filipino romance novelist who writes for Precious Pages Corporation. Many of her books have been adapted on TV including Impostor and her highly-acclaimed, Kristine Series.
I read someones review na medyo daw hawig sa isang english novel from other author.
At remind you, this is a Series.
I don't know about the PLAGIARISM part. But I know that ROMANO, (I mean, ALL FORTALEJO and NAVARRO MEN) never physically hurts a woman. This is also one of the parts that I was thinking, "Oh my God! A Casanova will fall for real!" And unfortunately, Romano doesn't want commitment, she wants a woman in his bed.
But then, things changed. I don't blame Romano that he believed that he was infertile and because no one in his family was infertile, he thinks he lost and inferior. Telling it to Bobbie would be more of a blow.
However, if he just checked for atleast second opinion, maybe there was never a part 2 hahaha But then I really like their story.
The book 2: Romano 2 is a copycat of Harlequin Book, Shattered Trust by Jacqueline Baird. Martha Cecilia is a plagiarist. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
I just love this particular conversation between Emerald and Romano in the last chapter of the book:
Huminga nang malalim ang binata. "Oh, we're still young, Mom. Maybe we'll meet again. And if the feelings are still there... well --" Nagkibit ito ng mga balikat.
"Is she someone special?"
"Very."
"Not one of those women?"
"Never."
Ngumiti si Emerald. "I want to meet her someday."
"Yeah, someday." "She graduated cum laude today. I thought of giving that to her tonight but changed my mind. Ayokong umasa siya..."
"Life is nothing without hope, Romano.", wika nito na tinititigan ang nasa kamay. "You may fail sometimes but don't let hope desert you. At tiyakin mo sa sarili mo kung gusto mo itong ibigay sa kanya. Ang mga lalaki sa pamilya natin ay hindi nagbibigay ng pangako kung hindi rin lang nila kayang tuparin." Tumayo na ito at lumakad patungo sa pinto.

I started reading KS when i was in High School, it was introduced to me by my Classmate and that was the series 44 and 45 and from then i cant stop myself from collecting all the series! I love KS sooo much!
I had no idea this was plagiarised ☹️ This was one of my favourite from Martha Cecilia and now I'm just disappointed.
If we speak about Romani love it's too many difficulties to explain , on the book is imagine the reality is another way . Anyway, I recommend this book to read.
