Dad bought this for me and my siblings for reference for school when we were younger. I have always been fascinated by how much I can learn just by reading. It felt like I was on my own magic carpet ride, hovering over various different places and seeing the world as if everything's happening in front of me.

Glad that I'm still having the book. Useful and worthy of information, facts and knowledge. Plus the colorful pictures that supplements each articles and section.

My mom bought this for me when she visited the UK in 1990.

I must have read this thing cover to cover!

I really liked how it was organized, how colorful it was.

This was one of my first introductions to so many topics, like special relativity, history of philosophy, Russian literature, etc.

So interesting to think that kids these days will never grow up flipping through paper encyclopedias.

I wonder what is lost?

I've had this encyclopedia since being a young child and have consulted it countless times over the years.
