Coaching To The Human Soul: Ontological Coaching And Deep Change

Coaching To The Human Soul - Ontological Coaching And Deep Change Volume I: The Linguistic Basis of Coaching

Rate this book
Coaching to the Human Soul breaks new ground in the literature on coaching, for it provides a comprehensive coverage of what is probably the world's most advanced approach to Executive Coaching and Life Coaching. Ontological Coaching is based on a new understanding of human beings and human interaction. Grounded in a substantive and robust theoretical framework, the method and practice of Ontological Coaching enables people being coached to connect with their souls and experience deep positive change. In this first of three volumes on Ontological Coaching, a new practical understanding of language and communication, and its coaching applications, is presented. This is a timely and invaluable contribution to progressing coaching from a fragmented industry towards becoming a profession.

Probably the best book on coaching I have ever read. This book provides the clearest overview of how language, the body and emotions all shape our lives -- mostly operating below our awareness -- that I have come across. If you do coaching work with people and want to be more effective, this is a must read. If you want to become more adept at understanding how to use language effectively, you will not find a better resource.

If you are interested in coaching yourself and others, Alan's 3 volumes of Coaching to the Human Soul is a must read. To often coaches focus so much on achievements, goals, to do lists to only find that people are biological organisms that will learn and change as they grow, adapting to their environment. In the end, all that matters is the quality of our daily lives and living your values in a healthy 'way of being'.

A two because it’s a decent overview of the model. But this needed an editor like a fish needs water.

An ontological coaching bible.
I give 4 stars because of some parts too long to read.
I bought all 3 volumes and I don't regret. Thank you for this remarkable work, Me Sieler.
