Fantastic summary of Sōtō Zen. It contains an unbelievably prescient description of the need for a particular kind of religion created by the industrialization of society — one that embraces & does not conflict with science, and yet, goes beyond it. Makes the claim the Soto Zen satisfies the criteria of Einstein’s forecasted religion of the future.
