With selections from the classic The Big Book Book of Tell Me Why #2, Arkady Leokum answers the myriad questions that our precious ones pose. Divided into clarifying chapters like Our World, How Things Began, and The Human Body, you'll find answers to questions like: What is the difference between a fruit and a vegetable?, How are seashells formed?, and How does the brain store information?. This fascinating and friendly-to-use reference is perfect for any curious kid.
This book has some very interesting facts in it. Most of the facts have to deal with science and history. I like the format of the books, because each section answers very common questions people have about the universe, the earth, solar system, water, nitrogen, environment, etc.
The book is simply written for kids too. I started picking these books up I think the in the 3rd grade. My dad also read this book when he was a kid. Just because they are simply written doesn't mean you shouldn't read it. It may answer some questions you have.
The book is also divided up into sections. You can find what you're looking for real easy. This book works really well for a quick guide.
