This one’s kinda cute. Clearly meant to get kids interested in making their own comics and even comes with some information on stuff like how to write a script in the back. Thought Chuck was a fun character, never seen him before. Some real good background gags in the art, like the guy who keeps getting attacked by a bird in one issue.

Chuck Clayton shares his techniques for creating comics and inspires a classroom to draw cool stuff. The stories are wholesome and encourage creativity and it shows the value of practising art of any kind.

This is a good little archie book. It has some issues, but those issues are some of the same that all Archie books tend to have. Overall this is the story of Chuck Clayton becoming an art teacher to elementary school students. He gets more and more on his plate as things go along and learns a lot of lessons from the older teachers there as well as from the students. I like how many people of color are all over this book in various positions. It's a nice change of pace. I'd recommend this to anyone who like Archie books. I wish there were more.

This is something I'd like to see a lot more of from Archie Comics: a cool exploration of a character who doesn't often get the spotlight. The story here is simple enough, but it's getting to know Chuck and his passion for his hobby that really makes this enjoyable.
Fernando Ruiz and Al Nickerson are at their best here, seamlessly working fantasy imagery into "mundane" scenes.
Archie has such a wealth of cool characters. It's time for more of them to have their stories told.

Well crafted Archie spin-off stories that are not only engaging but also teach kids the basics of the comics making business. Not being an Archie reader myself, it was better than I expected it to be!
