Believe Me
What if you could see into the future, but no one believed you? When Cassie was six years old, she discovered that she had the gift of prophecy. But with that gift came a curse. No one believed her predictions. Ten years later, Cassie doesn’t bother telling anyone about her powers. Not even her best friend believes in what she can do. Cassie is content living the life of a normal teenager until she meets Ryan, a new boy in school. She uses her powers to try to win him over, but her prophecies about their relationship eventually take a more dangerous turn. Are her visions of the future doomed to come to pass, or can she change their fates?

Fascinated by the stories that seemed to leap from his kindergarten teacher's books, he went home and wrote his own book, with illustrations and bound by staples. Of course, since he didn't know how to read or write yet, the book was full of gibberish.
Undaunted, H.S. eventually mastered the ABC's and continued to write throughout his grade school years, adolescence, and into adulthood. Despite earning a degree and working in a field not related to writing, he continued to pursue his writing passion.

This is a great coming of age/ first love story YA novel with a paranormal twist. The author plotted the book out carefully to keep you wondering what would happen next without giving to much information to make things predictable.
I enjoyed this book so much I read it in one sitting! I highly recommend more as a contemporary young adult novel with added supernatural elements. I really enjoyed the character and world development and the surprises that develop. Very well written.
I was given this book for free by the author for a fair and honest review.

I was given a free electronic copy of this book by the author, in accordance with the terms of For Love of a Book's Advance Reader Opportunity Program.
I thought that this was a very well-written novel that moved at a pretty good pace. I think the concept of the plot was interesting, but nothing too special or extraordinary by any means. This book moved in a very nice, easy way.
It was a good book, but I didn't see anything too great or amazing in it. I would maybe still recommend it, but I was expecting more nonetheless I didn't receive.

I received this book for free in exchange of a honest review as part of the Read It and Reap program ongoin in the Shut up & Read Group
I picked up this book becauses I was intrigued by the plot. Future predictions and the fight to avoid them always make me curious.
In this case, although Belive Me is still a nice book, I was kind of disappointed.
I was arrived at about 75% of the book when something meaningful happened. I got to spend about 3/4 of the book reading about an almost first sight love story with the two characters falling in love and starting a relationship without the minimum obstacle and very few feelings. The story lacked those elements that make your heart struggle and scream internally "They need to be together, they deserve it!"
Meanwhile Cassie just gives small and random examples of how her powers work and it feels like the author lost focus on what had to be the main theme. I would've appreciated more spending less time focusing on how Cassie and Ryan get together and more on how the characters face the truth about Cassie's powers and how they fight against faith.
All in all it was a nice reading, but it took too much to get to the main part which finished too soon.

This was a great book! I loved how it read, not too fast and not too slow. I feel that the characters were well written and thought out. The plot was very interesting and easy to follow.

Awesome book!!!! This was a great story and took me a while to read because I kept pausing and only read about chapter a night (sometimes more since it was great). It always kept me wondering the next day, though, what would happen next. Definitely something you would want to pick up and read before bed.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review (Shut Up and Read group).
This was a nice book. I read it in one sitting because I couldn't stop reading. I had to know what would happen next. Had to know if/how they would change their future.
Cassie's ability was original in my opinion. It wasn't the usual "see into the future" dreams or visions. She could use every object that could give multiple answers.
I also liked Cassie. I'm just not sure how I feel about Ryan. Some times I liked him, some times not much.
One thing I didn't like was the insta-like between Cassie and Ryan. The thing is, I didn't feel that deep connection between the two of them. Not for a while. They were cute though.
I liked Debra and Ben. And in the end Debra helped Cassie even though she was still a bit skeptical about her best friend's ability to see the future. She was a good friend.
All in all it was an interesting book and kept me on my toes.
