Fantastic history of not only NC's lighthouses but the beautiful Outer Banks as well! I am embarking on a trip to Cape Hatteras next weekend and found this at the perfect time.

I am a NC history enthusiast, and therefore loved this book. However, it was a little technical and dry. The book will probably not be enjoyed by those who do not possess a love for either lighthouses or the Outer Banks.
