Good anthology of communities that are standing up to equity issues. It made me rethink sustainability. Often the focus in on environment, but this book brings a new idea to the table. What if we deal in equity issues first, and let the rest of sustainability fall in place. Often issue of racial segregation and poverty are the last to be dealt with on the larger scale. I think that if we deal with these issues first then sustainability will unfold itself naturally.

Perfect combo of how to look at community development from the built side and the human side.
