This is another book that I read millions of years ago and think I quite enjoyed if just for the novelty she's a tough bodyguard. Rereading this she's actually terrible at her job and actually a bit of a numptie he's a pretty decent guy who wants a relationship with her and after a misunderstanding or 5 we get our HEA
It was ok I just thought that Antonia was a terrible bodyguard she was supposed to be protecting him keeping him safe and the time he got hurt was from her thinking it was gunshots and it wasn’t it was fireworks. I really wanted to love this book I just couldn’t.
What stands out is the fact that the heroine is in an unusual profession. She is a bodyguard. My 5 stars is for that and for the professionalism that she shows while performing her bodyguard duties.
