Well that was interesting. Not a bad short little book. The murder mystery chapter was a bit excessive for kids I think. My 8 year old had to leave the room for the 3 pages. It talks about "a dead body with an ax in his head... and blood every where" and everyone ended up with blood on them. It ended in a silly way but I think the gore was a bit much for little ones. Other than that it was a cute sweet funny book.

An alright, quick read. Unfortunately, wasn't appropriate to read it before nap time because of the "murder mystery" chapter (even though that was my favorite chapter). Oh well.
