Totally off charts with regards to what she usually write but I must say I did appreciate it. It was so far off the rest of her writing that I felt I was discovering a different author. Worth the reading if you are into the cyberpunk literature

Homeless people have 'abilities'. The protagonist has to beat his own daemon. Literally.

Kind of magical realism and urban fantasy.

Writing this review because two friends have turned me on to Robin Hobb and I only just now realised that I've already fallen in love with her writing, albeit under a different name. My autographed copy of this book is one of my favourites.
