Cathy Williams, born in Trinidad and Tobago, is a British author who has written romance novels for Mills & Boon since 1990. She lives in Chiswick, London, with her three daughters and continues to craft engaging, heartfelt love stories.
Perfectly fine, just not the tropes I enjoy. Bickering, endless lies, using OW/OM to make each other jealous, H accusing h of being a ho-bag gold digger and her loving him anyway... siiigh. If you're into these tropes then I think you'll really enjoy, but sadly for myself I just get a bit pissed off and skim.
Pretty bland plot. Didn't mind any of the characters but the hero...uh he needed to be overhauled. He was repetitive, sexual harassing, a cheater kinda, and was the thing that dragged down the book. Everyone else is fine. Eh read it I guess.
Maybe it's a good book, but I was so bored that I just skipped it.
And it's a shame. The story has one of my favourite features: a handsome barrister!
Another girl is swept against her wishes out of poverty into wealth. Oh my poor lamb, I know how you feel now that your brother's at college, you've got a new and interesting job, you live in the poshest neighbourhood in a family home of some loaded guy (a friend of your late grandfather) who's ready to fulfill your every dream and you're given a limitless creditcard.
