While Starr isn’t the best writer of all time, is story is truly incredible. The themes of transformation, love and Jesus are powerful, powerful, powerful.

So many admirable little stories in here that you’ll surely appreciate.

Also, before reading, I strongly recommend reading a little bit about Starr’s story so you know the context. There’s a quick YouTube video of a Pastor briefly explaining his amazing story. And don’t worry, the book goes into much more detail and is WELL worth reading even after watching the quick video. Knowing about Starr’s transition from hatred, violence, crime, and darkness to love, kindness, helpfulness, and inspiration makes the stories he shares even more powerful.

Starr simply has that “It” factor. Strongly recommend reading this book. You’ll be more inclined to live a loving, generous, and ultimately a happier and more fulfilling life.

Remarkable and amazing account of a hardened criminal who, after experiencing a near-death experience, transformed his life from one of bitterness and hate to love. He also transformed many others around him (in prison) at the same time. A book everyone should read. Powerful.
