Extremely revealing. I had read on the Kromstadt rebellion from the perspective of Trotskyites, painting it as an irascible, uncompromising uprising from White Army propagandists that threatened the whole of Russia, that had to be put down by necessity. This is far far more nuanced, and will push me to learn more about this moment in history, as it is key to understand the repressiveness of the Bolcheviks, which appear to be "corrupted" by Stalin's power grab, but maybe I need to relearn more about Lenin and Trotsky to be sure.
