Great tale of acceptance. I love a tale of a heart being claimed from loves lost and found.

As the age old saying goes do not judge a book by its cover…well it is true. The cover for this book made me pass it at least 10 times on my recommendations list. The cover is so unattractive to me. The actual content of the book was a gem I really like the story. It was kind of predictable but what romance isn’t predictable. All in all I really enjoyed the book.

**SPOILERS** Well, I said I would be done with this by tonight and I wasn't lying. So this was my first read by Stephanie Morris, and the book was just ok. I feel like the content of the story left a lot to be desired, and I was so excited to read this book based solely on the back cover synopsis. I cannot say that I was exactly disappointed, because, of course, as a true die hard romantic the story went about the way I expected. I just wish there was more build up and a more in depth story line. Not to mention the typos and other mistakes in it, that got on my nerves, probably more so, because the story was so short and quick. It had great possibility but I just feel like the package wasn't delivered. There was a point in the book when Blake's age was said to be 43, but by the end of the book it was 45 though no more than a few months had passed. Man, keep up with your facts on your own characters please! UGH! Then there was a scene when Leslie fainted when Sean popped up unexpected to her house!!! WHAT THE HELL!? Why the hell was she actually PASSING out when she should have been mad as hell he had the audacity to just show up when he hadn't bothered to respond to any of her attempts at communicating sooner!!! I'm sorry, the fainting away from shock would have been believable if she had thought him dead or missing or something, but him just being a deadbeat father who suddenly decided to show up to conduct some "business" was not FAINT worthy!!!!! I don't give a damn how shocked you were that he was there!!!! It was ridiculous and unbelievable, so was his decision to sign over his parental rights, while still supporting the baby financially. UGH, I had such high hopes but I guess the joke was on me because this book did not deliver the way I'd hoped it would!!!

"Stacking his claim" lacked depth, passion, heat, and heart. It reveled everything against that of the title of the book. The main character Leslie was boring and at times premature. In the beginning of the book she's comes upon Blake's house because of the upcoming blizzard. I had to take a pause at this. "Why come home when you're two weeks from giving birth? Isn't that cutting it a bit thin?" But hey it's fiction.

There was no romance just a bunch of filler it took about seventy-percent of the book before it gained momentum because most of the time she was so on her reservations simply because Blake was older than her. It made no logical since this man has pronounced that he has feelings for you constantly, he wants to be part of you and your child's life and vowed to take care of you. It was the complete opposite of the dude she had the baby with.

I was emotionally done with the book in the first thirty percent of the book but I kept on hoping it'd get better.

Leslie is about two weeks from giving birth but decides to drive to her parents a week early due to a blizzard predicted to hit soon, too bad the blizzard was early too. To make matters worse her car breaks down in the middle of the blizzard and her phones dead. Luckily she spots a light and ventures out and lands on Blake's door who kindly lets her stay. Soon though her water breaks and Blake has to help her give birth. Things go good and during the three days Blake and Leslie stay together they grow closer and Blake becomes not only attached to Leslie but her new daughter Alison. All that's left is for Blake to convince Leslie to give him a chance although they're eighteen years apart. Blake doesn't give up and him and Leslie start dating. It was a nice read and I would recommend it. >_<

3.00 stars. 'He ain't to old; if she, ain't too shame.' This paper back book was only 127 pages; but, the storyline moved at a snail's pace. The main characters, Blake Eaton and Leslie Thompson must have had a love at first sight experience because in the 3 days they spent stranded in his house, Blake a disabled Army Veteran with the Army Medical Specialist Corp delivered her baby and declared his love for her. Despite his being 18 years her senior, their relationship progressed with little drama, their friends and relatives were supportive, though she struggled with their age difference and her 'baby daddy' gave them some trouble. In the end, love prevailed and they had their "HEA".

4 stars. Loved, loved this book. It was short but romantic. Blake was my man from the first chapter to end. I do wanted to hurt Leslie for being Dumb; I know she didn't know how to handle Blake's love towards her, but she kept going on and on about the age, Come one. A good book. Kudos to the author.
