Twisted Journeys...the successor to Choose Your Own Adventures?
This one finds you on an adventure as a kid in an apothecary shop with your parents and the town seemingly gets overrun by Chinese zombies (geungsi). At least that's what happened to me and my kid several times as we read through it. I'm not sure where the whole 'Kung Fu Master' part comes in because we apparently never got there.
I'm a little bummed by that, but I really did enjoy the different mythology and culture represented in this book and it gave me a chance to discuss different things with my kid.
