Provides a single recipe in each section then lines for you to either journal or use as some recipe jotting. Not bad, but not really that useful to me.

Ever wanted to prepare a fondly remembered dish but have no idea where the recipe is? Is it in your file? In one of your many cookbooks, if so which one? Is it somewhere in that full drawer of “Necessities” that every kitchen has? Or, a friend wants the recipe for the dessert you served last month - where is it? Worse case scenario at our house is when the Mr. asks why I don’t fix a chicken casserole he loves any more. What chicken casserole, and where is the recipe?

Thanks to Ina Garten we can now bring mother’s advice to our recipes - remember when she said, “A place for everything and everything in its place?” Well, BAREFOOT CONTESSA RECIPE JOURNAL provides just that.

This colorful 7 ½" by 9" ringed notebook holds tabbed chapters for everything from starters to salads & soups to dinner to vegetables to desserts to breakfast. Each chapter has a pocket divider for clipped recipes, and a generous number of lined pages for making notes, copying recipes or making menus. Further, each chapter opens with one of Ina’s favorite recipes in that particular category.

Also included is an index that holds the recipes from all six of Ina’s cookbooks. Each listing is coded so that you can not only immediately identify the cookbook but also the page number. How’s that for efficiency?

As has been said you can never have too many cookbooks, but you only need one BAREFOOT CONTESSA RECIPE JOURNAL to keep all those recipes at the tip of your finger.

Enjoy!
