A solid introduction to the major problems in metaphysics. Loux has done a wonderful job of selecting works that balance all sides of the philosophical views at stake--most of the big modern names are there: Russell, Kripke, Quine, Smart, etc., and even Hume's bit on causation, which was a welcome sight. In addition, Loux's own prefatory remarks at the beginning of each chapter are also clear and generally quite helpful.
On a side note, this was my first introduction to the writings of David Lewis, who I soon discovered was not only crazy but awesome. Aw yeah, other worlds~
