My son loved it. I'm sure the colorful illustrations was the biggest reason. I on the other hand felt annoyed with Pinocchio while reading it. Then again he's a kid so I should forgive him a bit. Still he sure made a mess.

Pinochio is about a puppet who is brought to life by a ferry. Though he is alive he still has puppet characteristics. The ferry tells Pinochio that if he is a good boy she will turn him into a real boy.

Spoilers:
Pinochio gets turned to a real boy by the ferry toward the end of the story.
