Ruth S. Johnson provides a case for data literacy along with templates and parameters for developing cultural change in schools that enables previously disenfranchised students to succeed. This book works well both for readers wanting to understand the significance of data and data teams, as well as for those desiring a resource for designing surveys or other data collection tools.

Started off strong. Made me think. Then I realized, all of the data was made up. The value of the book dropped dramatically and made me sad. I miss reading for pleasure.
