I didn’t love this book. Discarding. People should wear whatever style of fashion at whatever age.

4 stars, the site's having a glitch....

Basically an expanded version of a section from a previous HB book, "Great Style", but still a good book for all that. The overall premise seems to be about providing inspiration, rather than a lot of advice, as there's not much text compared to the volume of pictures, though there is some practical advice, again quite timeless as concerned more with style than fashion/trends. It's great to again see so many women of different shapes/sizes/ethnicities, not just age-brackets. Chapters: The Perfect Wardrobe From 20 To 70+; Smart Shopping; How To Wear It - Tops; How To Wear It - Skirts; How To Wear It - Jackets & Coats; How To Wear It - Pants (Trousers, for the non-Americans amongst us); How To Wear It - Dresses; How To Wear It - Evening; Best Extras; Beach Guide.

Fun, quick read with lots of photos and a list of wardrobe staples at the back. Have you seen that older woman with the admirable body and the too young, out-of-touch wardrobe? I don't want to be her and books like this help!

A typical fashion tips book. Some cool ideas but nothing you wouldn't otherwise see in any fashion magazine.
