This book, and this series, put's their dedication to the letters of the alphabet over the top by using a lot of highlighted letter throughout the story. Alexander is an anteater who is friends with Anna who is an anaconda and Albert who is an alligator. And that's just the start. Ends with some phonics activities and other activities to enhance the story.

Another good one in this awesome series. I think these should almost become required readers in school because of their vocabulary building and letter recognition. I love that they work together and cooperate on making Alexander's act amazing.

Alexander Anteater's class is having a talent show and he doesn't know what to do. Can his friends help him? the first in a series of books featuring one classmate for every letter. This book focuses on the letter A. Preschool and up.

All these books are amazing especially with the activities at the end. My daughter is three and I just improvise on the activities but she loves them!

I thought this book was boring but my 4-year-old liked it. When we finished reading it, he wanted to try and balance everything he could find.

Alexander Anteater's class was having a talent show. He could stand on his hands. Anna Anaconda could balance a tray of stacked glasses on her head. Albert Alligator could stand on his head and balance the tray of glasses on his tail.

At the talent show, Alexander stood on his hands while Anna placed a tray of stacked glasses on his nose and Albert put a tray on his tail. He balanced them, then sprang into the air doing a flip. When he landed on his feet he was balancing the trays with the glasses in each hand.

At the end of the story, the author included a page with fun facts about anteater's, a few tips on learning to identify sounds, and how to play a cup game.

A cute story series that focuses on letters of the alphabet. This book focused on the letter A. I loved the "fun facts" at the end that were partnered with exercises.

I liked this book because Alexander balanced a tray of cups on his nose and his tail.
