A nice little book with information about deer hunting with rifles or shotguns. It talks about safety, sighting in the weapon, practice, and other information. Includes ballistic tables on the most popular calibers for the sport and well as information on butchering the game taken.

Finally a cohesive, coherent "basics" book, and not the usual "bunch of magazine articles bound together" which passes for a so-called deer hunting book. Very helpful, very welcome. Thanks Stephen!

this book was very helpful. i already know a lot about hunting but this book gave me the extra step and fought me some useful stuff i did not know.
