Gardening organically outdoors is prevalent in most horticultural circles these days, but what about gardening indoors? I borrowed this one from the library, and then I ordered my own copy because I wanted to be able to refer back to it as needed. The author writes with such enthusiasm about her plants—it’s contagious. (She calls them “foliage friends” in the first chapter. Adorable.) I planted a couple new plants a month ago and have been following her tips since, and everybody seems happy so far. 🌱
I thought this was a pretty comprehensive guide to houseplants and how to help them thrive.I particularly liked the section about the NASA studies on indoor air pollution and VOCs and what chemicals are removed by which plant.
This book had some helpful information, but was somewhat vague and limited in its information. I did like how the book came from the authors personal experience.
