Muslim scholar Ahmed Osman shows how the true, Egyptian roots of Christianity were deliberately covered up by the early church at the time of the burning of the library at Alexandria - roots which are only now being uncovered again by archaeology. He shows how concepts such as the Trinity were derived from Egyptian models (Osiris, Isis and Horus), how Horus's virgin birth gave rise to Jesus's virgin birthand how Akhenaten became the model for Moses and Tutankhamen the modelfor Jesus. The early Christians devised a fictional life of Jesus - but out of largely Egyptian sources for their own political purposes; for example, 'Amen' is derived from the Egyptian sun god Amun, and theLord's Prayer was used by Egyptians thousands of years previously.
Ahmed Osman (Arabic: أحمد عثمان) is an Egyptian-born author and Egyptologist. He has put forward several theories which are mainly rejected by mainstream Egyptologists
The book supposed to be a non-fiction by a sober historian, but the reality is far away from this viewpoint. The theories about Old Testament can be considered as nice tales. But the New Testament theory is pure fantasy. It can be seen, that author has an already prepared theory. He is not considering some historical facts and sometimes falsificates another to support his theory. According to the author every source not supporting his theory is simply lying. The author likes ancient Egypt very much. His thoughts are very subjective and emotional, but he thinks these thoughts are objective and based on facts.
