A great way to experience Shakespeare without the medieval English! The book covers 5 plays but rather than being written as a play, each title is written as a story but includes most of the famous quotes. My favorite was Romeo and Juliet. My least favorite Macbeth. I was surprised that all of the plays bar Macbeth were set in exotic locations - mainly Italy. Made me wonder more about the kind of guy Shakespeare was.

One of the better versions I've read on Shakespeare's histories. It's not dumbed down at all like most adaptations.
