"I am Your Genie."
But no genie ever looked like Alexander Duport. Genies were fairy tales, not flesh-and-blood male. Genies served their masters, they didn't ignite sexual fantasies.

A Wish & Kiss is worth spending a few hours on. It features an archeologist heroine who uncovers a nifty little lamp that turns out to contain a very sexy genie named Alex. He announces his presence to our stunned heroine with this line "I have come to do your bidding mistress". How can one not read on? What follows is a fun, sexy romance where the couple spend a lot of time together and get to know each other well before committing. The book begins to drag towards the end as the focus shifts from their relationship to a mad chase around the country as they try to salvage Chelsey's career. Despite that little slow down, the book is most definitely worth searching for if you like magical stories filled with laughter, sensuality and strong characterization.

I adored this book! It was truly a wild carpet ride. The romance was wonderful, the dialogue was witty, and the plot had more than one aspect to it. This isn't erotica. This is a romance with a story to tell, and I'd love to thank whomever suggested it so long ago on Amazon... If anyone has read a similar book, please let me know!

Note: I rated "Arabian Knight" as highly, but it seems to take after this book at least in the first half of it and the concept. The details were different enough, however, and books with this plot are too few for my liking. I did really enjoy both, but "A Wish and a Kiss" is worth buying a collectible version to keep permanently. Wonderful!

It's an average romance novel. I really love the setting of the story. It's very uncommon and refreshing but the pacing of story is a bit unbalance. There are some moments that should slow down and some shouldn't. It feels like their relationship were moving too fast and i don't really feel the bonds between them.

Generally, it's a fun book to read.

I loved this book! What sane woman wouldn't melt to have a hunk genie granting her wishes! It even has just the right amount of danger thrown in!
